ALDO Design Internship
As a product design intern at The Aldo Group I worked alongside the women's product development team. Here I got to assist all of the women's shoe designers and got to work on some cool projects! One of them being the Lunar New Year capsule project for 2019. The year of the rat.
The focus was to design shoes that incorporated symbolism within colour, graphics, and accents to pay a subtle nod to Lunar New Year while still being shoes that could be worn all-year round.
After many ideations and refinements 2 of my sneaker concepts were chosen to go forward apart of the capsule.
